Flashback: the Sony Xperia XA Ultra had an amazing selfie camera with OIS

It was among the very first phones to have this feature and Sony's implementation was better than HTC's. The XA Ultra also had an impressively large 6" display.

Rear could do better than oneplus, xiaomi, apple.

    A classmate had one, white.
    Wasnt that huge in the end.
    Only problem was fact battery should have been 3600mAh, instead of 2700.
    Screen has same area of current 6,5" 21:9, that uses 5000mAh.

      When Sony was still popular, this phone had more than 9 million hits. How hard is it to make a €300 phone attractive like this? No wonder brands like Infinix are growing..

      You can see that the Mate 60 Pro, which is still China only, is more popular than the Xperia 5 V, which anon says here, is being sold in 30 countries.

        If anything, this phone proves that smartphone makers are barely concentrating on selfie camera improvements. While rear camera gain 4K, slow motion, and even 8K recording capabilities, selfie cameras have been stuck at 1080p with 30 fps.
