Pc is superior platform:you get mods, cheaper games, free multiplayer, can do actual work with it, backward compatible etc
Of course building a pc is more expensive at first but just buy latest AMD morherboard and cpu(now like 7600x or 7800x3d) and gpu like rx 7700 xt so that you can upgrade those later when next gen consoles come and it you Will actually save money In the long run.

I already have 1 main game on my laptop it's GTA V. It will take many months to complete it and imagine subscribing to this and you can get a lot of games, just 1 game maybe you can't finish in 2 months.

Anonymous, 01 Sep 2023One of the reasons I play on PC.You do realize that these console's "annual" subscriptions would more than pay for themselves IF the user plays "rented games" whose value exceed the price of the subcription itself?
Careful not to look down too much as the likes of Gamepass are getting popular among my local community groups. Which makes sense as most do not want clutter and/or there's less XBOX games disc buyers.

Wow Sony Good for You. My subscription is essential cause i didn't see any reason to go beyond that. I definitely see far much less now!

Cloud saves? Free with every PC store that supports them.
Online play? Free, duh.
Discounted games? Ever heard of sales? Every season, every store has their own, without paying them in advance.
"Free" games? For $60 you can buy a new release (or a few older ones), so if they didn't "give" you any games in that, it would be a complete rip-off.
And now, when they got you by the balls, they raise the prices.
Funniest part - you let them and happily paid.

One more reason to seriously consider PC gaming.
people need to stand up and stop supporting these scummy subscriptions .. Sony isn't providing anything why should people pay to play online when they already payed for the games??
Nothing will change unless gamers change. vote with your wallets guys.

Isn't Xbox game pass ultimate $120 for a year and has
Xbox live (online play)
Game pass (100+ games to play for free as a subscription + play exclusives on gamepass as soon as it releases)
Xcloud (cloud gaming and also works super good and better than the time it released and getting better)
Play anywhere (have 1 game for both PC and Xbox)
Cloud storage
2 free monthly games
Discounts of gamepass games and Xbox live and sometimes buy 1 get 1 free.
Yet this is way more expensive even tho Xbox offers WAY more for the price.

i just renewed mine last last week so im kinda lucky but holy hell they should backpedal immediately like when Microsoft did the same on game pass.
also no ones paying essential for a $80 with basically just the basic features wtf
i know Sony wants to appeal to those devs into releasing their games 1st day on PS+ but theyre acting as if they aren't making money with those previous pricing. its just plain old greediness.
