While Poco is obviously the best phone between the two, the long term support of Samsung software updates is i believe that makes Galaxy a better option from both.
When the Android gets new versions, the apps runs better at the newest version.
This is what makes for example Pixel phones the best Android phones, the long term support of software.

              The A54 is currently on sale here so it's 335 eur, and in my opinion the F5 worths that little extra, that you would otherwise have to spend on a charger, case and screen protector for the Samsung. All included with the Poco. Not to mention the gigantic bezels of the A54 and the just as gigantic performance difference between the two phones. Original price of the A54, when it's not on sale is also 360 eur, or 412 depending on the store.

              If one doesn't like buying phones that aren't officially sold, then the Poco F4 with Snapdragon 870 is a crazy deal right now for 284 eur, and even at it's official price which is 360 eur, again.

              Starting price of the A54, when it was new, it was 554 eur, the Poco F5 was never that expensive.

                        Your comment is a troll comment. There is no ads or anything you mentioned. Maybe only in China/India market. But then again to be so dumb on phones and there OS system that you dont know that even if you have ads then you can turn them off.

                          Anonymous , 05 Sep 2023I wanted to buy the a54. But after watching it tr@shing by ... moreSamsung have had all types of issues including mobo failures and for that in the A5x series too. While for Poco there is only 2 phones that are X3 Pro and M3.

                          Just to make perspective in this is that X3 Pro was 240 euro phone while Galaxy A5x have always being 350-450 euro range phone.
                          Also M3 was under 200 euro phone. Point is that with Poco you know they cut corners so you get there product with fair low price. With Samsung you expect quality and there for you are happy to pay more for there devices. If Samsung have mobo issues then that is like 10 times worse then from Xiaomi and Poco as you dont pay top dollar for there phones.

                          Also it's so annoying to see people complain about mobo problems from a brand that is 5 years old and it happened only on 2 models and specifically only in India market where probably the build quality is lower quality. In EU they cant have these issues cause they need to give 2 years of warranty and if they go with lower quality then think of the loss they make when loads of there phones have mobo issues and need to be replaces in that 2 years warranty.

                          With Samsung and there issues we know have been. Updates that slow down your phone or drain your battery. Batteries that explode and also mobo issues. Also screen issues like the green lines and so on people complain about AMOLED screens.

                          The list is way longer on Samsung part with the issues then we have seen in Xiaomi and Poco. So to even think that ohh Poco have mobo issues so i should avoid it. Well Samsung have more issues to be scared of like i just mentioned few

                            It is way weaker in terms of it performance, has a worse screen with older tech and a less appealing design, has no real advantage in the speaker and battery area, has slower charging etc.

                            So to summarise, you are degrading yourself to a:

                            - 2 year old user experience in terms of performance
                            - 3 year old user experience in terms of the screen
                            - 5 year old user experience in terms of the charging speed

                            While other areas like the battery and speakers are comparable to the Poco F5, all for a slightly better camera system / build quality and yet here you are, still willing to pay more than you would for the Poco F5 with its many advantages AND not get a charger in the box, which is the exact opposite of a good user experience.

                            Your own personal bias should not cloud your judgment, given the unquestionable fact that the Poco F5 is the better phone of the two, both in terms of its value and in terms of a spec-to-spec comparison.

But Xiaomi doesn't work officially here, their smartphones are sell by some third parties stores. We can say that we have an "official" third party store in Brazil that represent Xiaomi here, but only sell 3 smartphones and one of then is Poco X5 Pro cost the same as the standard S23 here.

                              In other hand, Samsung build their smartphone here, that's why they rule our market, because there's no company with better cost benefit, warranty and support.

                                  I prefer the A54. The great advantage of the POCO is the stronger chipset and, for me, be lighter. But I don't trust in Xiaomi and in my country they don't have warranty while the Samsung are build here.
