I used to spend $200 max on phones and kept them 2 years (now $400 and keep em for 3 or 4 years).
It's a phone and I own a camera, computer, laptop and stereo. The phone basically drives the watch on my end. That said, markets and demographics vary and so does usage. If you're really young, I guess a phone is an all 8n one entertainment device..until Xmas and consoles become more appealing for gaming.

2023 is set. Samsung leads without strong sales from china. You can't change the facts just because you don't like it. If you want to see a change for 2024, go out and buy millions of phones from your favorite brand. :)

I'd attribute it not to economic woes but the fact that we've kinda sorta reached a plateau in terms of display quality, performance and display. And 5G has turned out to be mostly a gimmick. Yeah, it's faster, no doubt about it. but 4G is more than enough for 99.9% of people out there.
Why replace a 2-3 year old phone when the new one is barely any better?

Come out of that rock, my friend. Tecno and Infinix and fast growing brands. Just FYI, I'm not a fan tho. Even moto is growing. Oppo vivo are just overpriced. Yes their high end phones are good but the mid-range is just laughable. Bbk is run by OnePlus and realme lately, as oppo vivo have lost their appeal to the average buyer

Nothing could hold back the extremely fast growth of Transsion this year. It felt like they came out of nowhere.
If BBK is combined they can become number 1.

Maybe if they remove some more stuff that'll improve sales... Headphone jack, microSD, and charger have already gone. What else? Maybe the power button and volume buttons?

Samsung was doing better when S series had crappynos variant at much higher price than snapdragon variant.
If Samsung is able to put crappynos 2400 at least on pair with 865, clients will be back.
Most powerful crappynos ever, because tensynos 3 is barely above 780.
