I've owned Z Flip devices as daily drivers since the launch of the first model. Never had one break on me. Meanwhile, the last three slab flagships I've owned all cracked. A Note9, S21U and S22U. Costing me over 1,000 euros in repairs. That's a grand I could have spent on a trip to the other side of the world. The Note 9 broke, front and rear, after less than a week from s single drop!

Slab phones are dead to me. Not a chance in the world I'll become dumb enough to ever waste money on of those again.

Maaaybe not the best video to promote to show a teardown. A video done by a professional repair person would probably be better, since jerry only wants to destory phones.

The hinge change had definitely increased the durability of the phone, and not just reducing the gap of it.
