LOL the china shills, who cried in pain when USA banned china tech, now rush to defend the iPhone ban 😂
Where's the consistency? If you hate USA ban, you should equally hate china ban. Don't be a hypocrite.

The more bans we have on the over-inflated price mongers that are Apple and their iPhones, the better.
Maybe this ban will lead to price cuts for ALL Flagship devices (Why the heck are XIAOMI and SAMSUNG non-folding phones priced so high again?!).

Tann Hauser, 07 Sep 2023Whoa. That would be...about half of all global iphone sales. It's just limited to govt officials. Payback for what they did to Huawei in 2019. A dose of their own medicine.

I mean, it's not like that ZTE ban achieved a lot, the Axon 9 already shouldn't have come out with the then-current highest-end Snapdragon chipset, but it did, and so did every other newer ZTE flagship phone. Even some of their midrange phones came with Snapdragon chipsets.

Tann Hauser, 07 Sep 2023Whoa. That would be...about half of all global iphone sales. It wouldn't. iPhone sales in China is about 24% of all iPhones sold globally. And the article says only about government employees using iPhones at work. They can keep their iPhones and use them outside work.
