Anders, 12 Sep 2023Android makers are going to lose even more market share to... moreIPhone will gain some market share considering state of Android ecosystem and Samsung being in cost cutting mode. That said there is always consumers who prefer Android open ecosystem vs closed iOS. I ain't switching to iPhone despite good hardware. I just don't like ios.

Is the the Iphone that will compete with the S23 Ultra?? It seems a lot more like #CopyPaste the biggest innovation is the USB-C

Looking at it from spec sheet wise this looks like a very meaty upgrade compared to the 14 pros And also obviously a better generational leap unlike the 13 to 14 series

But its when reviews start coming out and pple start to experience the specs that's when we really know if this is just another incremental upgrade.

Although personally i think this is the biggest iphone upgrade in a very long time especially thanks to that typce c transition

I can finally upgrade my old iPhone 12 pro max to the big boy iPhone 15 pro max 1 TB This is going to be a game changer with USB-C 3 fast transfer speed and the best build quality than any other flagship smartphone today. Apple is true 👑 of all smartphones that's the painful truth.🤡🙈🙉🙊

Same with all the other phone makers that now follow the apple way. Samsung and others used to be improving much more drastically. And the tech has far from peaked or reached a point where things could not improve dramatically still. But why do so when you can keep things the same, over market them, call it a revolution, and actually remove features, and then charge more.....
                Its a sad world

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2023The more the range is increased, the smaller the sensor wil... moreYour are making a mistake it's not the sensor size it's the lenses which determine the brightness and also focal length

To get longer zoom ranges the lens had to be less bright/less wide, although it can be better compared to others just like Apple has achieved the widest lens for a 5x optical zoom

But also to an extent the sensor size does matter

Gaming features look promising ngl. They must have reached new levels of efficiency with TSMC's 3nm

Besides all that titanium fanfare and complex manufacturing process, this phone still looks like a design introduced 2 years ago. Many YouTubers will be able to break the embargo without any issues because let's face it, no one will notice it's the new iPhone.

And it shouldn't be that way. If I'm buying a shiny new piece of tech it shouldn't look like something from the past. It should have an instantly recognizable, ground breaking new design. Like Oppo does with their Find X series. We're talking phones instantly recognizable from across the room.

But seing an iPhone in the wild ? Maybe it's the 15, but it may the 13 as well. Or maybe it's the 14 ? I don't understand that logic.

Maybe I'm just not the target consumer, but going through all the hassle to manufacture a phone out of titanium just to make it looks exactly like the outgoing model ? That's complete nonsense in my book.

Android makers are going to lose even more market share to Apple over the next 12 months. I don't like iPhones. But when 99% of Androids nowadays are just wannabe iPhones. Might as well get the real thing. Especially now as your USB-C accessories will work with iPhone and the cameras have had a decent upgrade

                            Samsung had 1/2" at 104mm.
                            Then 1/4" at 240mm.
                            Now 1/3.52" at 230mm.

See the pattern? To reach 270mm, 300mm, 320mm or 360mm for example, the sensor would be reduced again, to even 1/5" probably.

1/4" is 1/3 of the size compared to 1/2.6".

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2023So is samsung. So is apple. What's your point? My point is Samsung has 10x optical zoom camera best in the class. Not Huawei with 3x optical zoom

I am quite disappointed in colour choice. Last year deep purple was amazing colour. We already had in blue. Don’t get me wrong I love blue tone but not this one. Black also could be more black like real black not some dark grey tone.

As a Samsung fan this the first IPhone that has swept me off. I am definitely buying this one. I mean for starters AAA pc games coming to iPhone let that sink in. Titanium chassis, ray tracing. 10gb/ usb c. And many more. Goodbye Samsung

You complain iphone has only 120mm.
Sanctions do not forbid them to use 240mm again, huawei is choosing not to use.
P50 Pro with omnivision camera while nova had sony sensor. Pretty weird.

Do you want 1/4.4" sensor to allow 240mm like huawei used to have that was unusable wven in daytime?

And no, you are not going to see 1/2.6", 1/2.3" nor 1/2" at this focal length ever. From anyone.
