quite sure they'll use exynos 24-something for S24
no source, simply saying, they definitely need to find some usefulness of those chipset and fab process.
at least in europe and parts of asia for base S24, my guess
some benchmark shows gen 3 for S24+ anyway.

Also, I read many comments on samsung lacking of those 120/240/5000w charging. I don't beleive that seriously. it's dangerous, for users and for battery. so many reasons for that. Among others, P=RxI², as of 2023 batteries resistivity, and even with multiple compartments, can't draw that much power without heat/danger, especially through those tweaked usb cables. luckily no xiaomi users have been known to be injured yet. I would hope I am wrong...

            Why does it matter? It’s USB-PD, and most people charges their phones overnight anyway. Most phones already give enough juice within 15 to 30 minutes. Faster charging would make more sense on tablets where the battery is much larger.

Pretty much keeping it an equilibrium between speed and thermals. As far as I know, Apple has been stuck at 20W for half a decade or something like that.

                        From what I can understand, it seems that Samsung will never increase their charging speeds so long as Apple doesn't.

                        If Apple introduces higher watt charging, Samsung will 100% follow suit. Which is sad.

                          My S23 Ultra won't go past 30W on a 65W GaN charger no matter what. I bet you can only sort of get 45W with Samsung charger and even there I remember it was hardly any faster than a 25W Samsung charger. Which goes in line with my 30W charge rate. 30W is enough for my needs, but why lie about it Samsung? Just why? Call it 30W and if it actually reaches that, then it's fine. Now not ever hitting 45W it just makes them look like a joke.

                                45W is fine. My phone supports up to 25W but my charger is 45W. It charges full in 1 hour. So if it supports 45W it will charge around 40 minutes.

                                      According to @RGCloudS, the stacked battery will be featured in the Galaxy S24 Ultra and possibly the S24+. It depends on the supply chain – currently Samsung is just running tests with batteries made at a Chinese plant as the plant in Cheonan is still waiting for manufacturing equipment to arrive.
