      Anonymous, 15 Sep 2023I always charge as slow as possible, to avoid battery degra... more"Fast charging Bad" right so clearly you can get by with a phone thats 10 years old by ehat i just read seeing as clearly your phone musn't die very fast ergo you'r not using any of the massively upgraded features and capabilities of the device but as for someone who actually uses their smart phone as a smart phone and not just a cell phone streaming high quality music while bluetoothing to multiple peripherals and playing the newest competetive online games i kill a 20,000 Mah Battery Bank In About 5 hours and when i plug my phone in it goes up maybe 1% every 20 minutes while my screen gets darker and darker from the long drawn out process of charging while still using in a high capacity and then well time to go home plug my bank in for 5-6 hours and charge my phone while dead and off for 45 minutes until it reaches it's safe 85% capacity limit so sure if you use a smart phone asif it were a flip phone yeah "fast charging bad" however if your pushing the tech to ut's limits i'd argue it overheating while charging at its pitifull 25 watts for 5 hours then dieing outright is far more damaging to the battery's life cylce then to slighty imrpove wattage of the charging capabilities of the phone as you said some phones have 120watt flash charge and unless were talking the asus rog they are all literally half the price of the mid-grade galaxy that comes out every year while i agree 120watts my be a little much 45 watts to power 12gb/s ram multiple hundreds of mb/s of data transfer content, multiple periphals bluetoothed, 120hz screens, and massive continent sized maps were 100 player battle royal matches have to be synced to each player while streaming music 45 watts for a 1000$+ phone is nothing but samsung blatantly taking advantage of its #1 android phone position and using it to rip off their customers as much as they can possibly get away with and just upgrading their yearly models as little as possible each year in order to squeeze every possible penny out of their poor customers as they can and i for one had purchased my first 1000$+ phone being the atrocious s21 as unfortunately at the time in my town it was apl that was in stock and available at the time wich is also ridiculous and my razer phone i paid 700$ for in 2018 literally beat the performance in almost evrey aspect (other than battery life but not by much as i push both devices to their max capabilities) so a big battery bank seems like all i can really do to get around that but even their the razer phone 2 smokes my garbage galaxy as it had 65 watt dupport wich is my power banks limit aswell rather than the ridiculous 25 watts of my s21 i'll never buy a galaxy again for im not one to smile in the face of a company stealing from me however sir, sure "fast charging bad" could i interest you in a typriter to text perhaps? No charging better for you? Or how about a portable sattelite phone big and massive that can just make calls because clearly sir your "smart phone" isn't being used to do much "smart" features other than basic cellular usage if you honestly thi k 45 watts is an acceptible rate of charge capavility for a device that costs up to 2300$ i wish my interests and hobbies were more simple than competitve gaming and active tech usage ... Literally the whole (ignorance is bliss = your comment on 45 watt charging) enjoy the prehistoric era where you happily reside bit over in the 21st century im not handing over thousands of dollars and being happy with a product that's capabilities are no better than their first s20 model (worse infact no 120hz lock only adaptive and removal of a sd card slot as to render my 1tb sd card useless aswell no sir "fast charging not bad" you just clearly dont have a need for it my flip phone lasted me 6-7 years and their were nicer ones out at the time but why bother back then phones capabilities wernt much to speak of and it's 5 watt charging was more than enough perhaps you should invest in one of those? A "MOTOKRZR" the thing razer flip phone knock off is just what your looking for sir 50$ phone and came with 50$ of free minutes what steal atleast compared to these galaxies it surely was atleast i didnt spend barely anything ergo expected nothing, the opposite of this overpriced 4 year dated tech filled dissapointment

        45W is fine for me, it is sweet spot between really low speeds and extremely fast speeds that effect the battery... I have S23 ultra, I connect to the 45 W charger while it is on 15-20 percent, I have quick breakfast, shower, change my clothes to go out, find it around 85-90%, which takes me through the entire day.

          Im fine with any phone charging from 15-85% in at least 40mins.
          I have a phone which charges to full in less than 20mins but i seldom charge it with its bundled charger (120w), just during emergencies like when i woke up late and forgot to charge
          But i think there should be an option for every new phone (looking at every flagship) to a faster charging especially ita already 2023

                  Oh please, at least just try to think for 5 seconds. Your only thing that you are trying to defend Samsung with, is their sales, you've got nothing else. Samsung sells worldwide, everywhere and anywhere, while chinese companies don't. In markets where do they do sell, they can actually outsell Samsung.

                    In fact, most of people literally dont have problem with charging speed of Samsung.

                    If they really want it, they would buy inferior chinese phone in the first place but they didnt.

                    The list of top 10 best selling phone is just superior proof that many people dont care about charging speed and buy Samsung/Apple instead.

                    I am happy for the choice of many people. Samsung is the winner here.👍

                                        Well, i expect a lighter, sleeker, more durable, phone, including curved edges. I'm not really concerned about charging speeds; 45 watts is still just OK.
