He (original comment) remarked about the processor being not good enough but then, what to expect at this price ? Of course there's not going to be a 8 gen 1 in there for 300 bucks

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2023What are talking about. You seem confused I was just replying to the other who has said that people complain about not having headphone jack or SD card or other phones. I wanted to give a detailed explanation on why people complain. I am sorry if I said something wrong. English is not my first language.

The color didn't look as annoyingly bright on Motorola's website. That's why the dark color disappeared from stock first I guess

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2023When a phone lacks 3.5 mm jack, you complain
When it doesn... morePeople complain about Xperia's because they charge a premium, doesn't have good software support, no good auto mode, no good QC over their phones ( check the display issues and fingerprint missing issues in Sony sub).
People are used to having headphone jacks on the midrange and budget segment. When people complained about not having headphone jack on the premium phones, others said that, if people could afford a 1000 dollar phone could also buy a headphone or earbuds. But that isn't the case for a mid range and budget phones. The battery is not guaranteed to last after 3 years and you have no proper means to repair them. It's an outright controversial move by companies in having more profits. Having an headphone jack doesn't force anyone to just use wired earphones or headphones. It gives user a choice to choose from. How much does a 3.5mm jack cost in the BOM of making a phone. My guess, is very very less.
Every person has a valid reason to complain. If you don't a problem, that doesn't mean someone else doesn't have a problem with it.

Anders, 17 Sep 2023€300 for a Snapdragon 695?? This is DOAWhen a phone lacks 3.5 mm jack, you complain
When it doesn't have SD card slot, you complain
When it has both (Xperia), you complain
When it has both and is also affordable (moto), you complain
Really you must be typing that from a PC because no phone can ever be perfect for you. Tell me what do you use for local communication, pigeons I guess ? I bet you'll complain that pigeons don't have SD card slot as well

I bet the sensor is the OV50B that Motorola uses in many devices lately and is a very capable sensor much better than the JN1.

it seems nice specs wise, but the problem is software support. It's not good to see a device abandoned after just a couple of years of official updates

Guys maybe the article writer made a mistake or Qualcomm or Lenovo made a mistake
I'm sure it's not a 695 , maybe typo on the label or something
Can anyone give an explanation? I know my eyes aren't the best

JoXim, 17 Sep 2023No way, this one is to cheap for that...
I think it would ... moreOnly IF you are referring to the sensor on the Moto G82, the predecessor of the Moto G84, and not the G84 itself. Because G84 has quite a large 1/1.5" sensor and a 1.0-micron pixel pitch, which already proves the sensor isn't JN1 from the get-go, but something else (that's bigger and better than JN1) that user A.C. aforementioned. I already cross-checked Motorola's own website in that regard as proof I wasn't lying about my statement.

Please stop with the 695. Please look at 7 series chipsets. The market is absolutely flooded with 695 phones, at least try to get your phone to stand out from the rest.

JoXim, 17 Sep 2023No way, this one is to cheap for that... I think it would ... morethat horrible, gimmicky, noise maker sensor? for 299 euro it would be not worth it unless if only used as a portable hotspot. because the only powerful component inside snapdragon 695 is the modem.
