If I am not mistaken they will continue to sell iPhone 13 or 14 vanilla versions. So, people interested in vanilla iPhones can buy one of those. Still good for Apple. And good also for customers, because probably the prices for these older models will be cheaper than when launched. I don't think the average customers wants dynamic island or USB-c, to make them buy the iPhone 15.

Because the costs of making one is still expensive and create one with Apple logo will be around 3000-4000$. They are waiting for the materials to lower their price and maybe in 2 or 3 years we are gonna have a flip iphone.

This is what happens when you decide as a company to tone down the rest of the 15 line up.

Once again the 15PM stands out from the rest(even the 15pro) and the base Iphone 15s are less exciting that even iphone 11/12.

Here in the US, people don't use Whatsapp for messaging but instead, use native tools like iMessage. Kids and teens especially want to make sure they don't "ruin" a group with a green bubble, so they all end up using iPhones.

I still don't understand why there's no foladable or flip phone from Apple when it's almost 2024 smh

Another year, another iPhone. Another year for a lot of people not to care. Maybe Apple cooks something special every 10 years? iPhone XX in 2028?

I live in Europe where this is less pronounced that's why it didn't stand out for me, so point taken.

In terms of hardware variations, I truly believe that these would very rarely affect every day usage and experience for the average user/consumer. If you are a heavy gamer, then I fully agree with you: different hardware can meaningfully impact your experience with specific Android brands, like Samsung. For the average user, I would jokingly say that it's a more a matter of synthetic benchmarks' competition, rather than day-to-day impact.

On a matter of principle, I agree with you that marketing the exact same product, with not the same hardware is not the optimum approach and Apple has the upper hand there.

Maria, 18 Sep 2023Spoiler: I am not Apple fanboy Sorry, I bet that you nev... moreI am an owner of an iPhone since launch, currently having an iPhone 14 pro (given by my Company as a corporate phone) while I have Z Fold 4 as a personal phone (In the past I have used as personal devices flagships from Samsung, Sony, OnePlus and Huawei; my corporate phones have always been iPhone, so I can tell you that for the last 13 years I am using daily both OS in parallel).

I am actually writing this comment on an iMac on which I work for an average of 10-11hrs per day and I can assure you that I live in an EU country that offers the full array of Apple services.

All in all, I think I have had more than enough first-hand experience of both iPhone and Android flagships, in addition to complementary devices to have a qualified opinion and I stand by it: The reasons people still buy iPhones have increasingly less and less to do with the actual devices and more with the brand equity of Apple and the ecosystem it has built that is more appealing to the average consumer, compared to the fragmented experience that you would have with Android.

Sorry, I bet that you never use iPhone, any Apple products and particularly Apple services. Your opinion is only based on what you see and then compare those with your experiances. It is because the people with Android phones do the same.
Or if you do not do the same things, your home country have no Apple services.
