New iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max design makes replacing the rear glass panel much cheaper
18 September 2023
This design was first implemented on the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus last year, but the 14 Pro duo stuck with the old design and the possibility of a $500 repair bill.

Too bad it isn't plastic. Then it'd be lighter and less likely break!

A step in the right direction, though almost $200 to replace the back glass is still way too expensive. The reason why they're even doing these big prices in the first place is because they want you to sign up to AppleCare.

It is not because design. Apple now sees this prices were abusive and ppl would seek for non-official repair shops.
