      The latest snapdragon, mediatek and apple chipsets are powerful enough for most users worldwide. "Only" the geeks will look for this results nowadays. Either way most of the power is not even used properly.

                  And still, you can't do real multitasking, no multiwindow, no 'Samsung DeX' like feature on iOS, handicapped to the brick and unorganized and a general messy OS with poor user friendlyness just to name a few things.

                  A TOTAL waste of manufacturing resources on the 'A17 Pro' CPU to be honest.

                      well, only 100k more than sd8g2 which is basically one year old is very underwhelming. the 9200+ is even scoring that already I think

                        Apple again made a big deal out of it. It is barely better than 8g2. Wonder how it will compare to 8g3.

Because... morewhat I want to tell you is that more battery life is cool but people will still charge their phones on a daily basis. If you need more battery then top it up with the 60w chargers that most phones nowadays come with and you have another day of battery in 20-30 minutes. Unless you work one of those 24 hour shifts you will always be able to top up your phone at home before its battery runs out, not to mention that powerbanks exist. Also the s3 you mentioned may get the same battery life but it also gets over 20 times worse performance with it. This is what you call efficiency improvement.

                                      I am gonna buy the Iphone 15 pro max, anyways. Considering that it has a better battery and better processor, just makes my decision making faster.
