IgorS, 20 Sep 2023Ah c'mon! You don't have $11 dollars to spend on ... moreWired earphones are superior bro. Only issue is that they get spout more easily and don't give you proper flexibility when using the phone. But anyway the simple solution is to get type C earphones or get an adapter.

I have a Phantom X2 and I never get any ads on my phone. It's fast and snappy with no issue. I even got a 3rd party launcher to give the phone a completely different look. So if you're worried about ads, the solution is very simple.

Btw Redmi phones do the same thing, serving ads in the phone UI and it's pre-installed apps. But all that can be disabled.

$120 is cheaper than the price of replacing a broken Samsung S-series screen 😂😂😂😂

Dave H., 20 Sep 2023The situation remains the same, obscure brands that do not ... moreYou are wrong. Itel isn't obscure, but has focus in specific markers without the need to sell globally.

Go search for Transion Holdings and you will understand.

Also remember that longer time of support is actually INCLUDED in the final price of any electronic device. Monthly updates and Android updates are not free - at least, not for the brands - and that's why Samsung devices are a bit more expensive.

Infinix, Tecno and Itel are cheap mostly because of its lack of Android updates. You always get 2 years of security updates and I can confirm that as an actual Infinix user. Tecno offers Android updates for some phones.

Curious fact: Xiaomi was once a brand accused of being fake, full of virus and adwares. They didn't had regular security updates, had tons of security frailties and so on. Their phones were cheap and absolutely great. Now they are one of the biggest players.

In my country this would mostlikely be @ $100 or less during special events/sales day so definitely worth the money with those spec's.

For 112€ you can't really complain.

Rather to deal with those ads that I can turn off and bloats that I can just remove with ADB rather than suffering with that crappy Helio P35 chipset that can't be fixed because it's already a hardware problem.
