Ginoza, 20 Sep 2023Unimpressive? This is an exemplary mid-range smartphone for... moreSo many entry devices even today. The average spec of an entry level device:
-no expandable storage
-Mr Jack is missing
-No after market support (oem or community)
-Weak reparability
-Screen ratio is designed to be dropped

The only "unimpressive" thing in pixel 4a is the small battery.
    Sincerely, the pixel 4a owner

So no 5 years of updates what a shame

"The Pixel 4a was a rather unimpressive smartphone, and when we reviewed it, we were puzzled why Google released it as a mild upgrade of the Pixel 3a just weeks ahead of the Pixel 5 launch in 2020"

when the writer forgets the lower price and brilliant sales of the device, 4a was rather impressive device of it's time where people were able to get that Google experience cheaper then last gen
heck it was still outselling the 5 and 4a 5G few months later when they come out

So 5G version still getting an update?
