I like the phone very much using since 3 Years... Still love this small handy cutie phone.. only problem I'm facing is very less battery and sometime heating issue... Apart from that it's an impressive smartphone

I don't know why it is mentioned as unimpressive?
It was a simple, compact and no nonsense phone. Only problem was - it was launched at a time when whole world was shaken due to COVID.
Apart from that it worked all fine. I gave it away to my BIL.
I am planning to get a resale unit and install custom ROM on it.

3 years for Google phones is very short, Redmi phone from 2020 also gets 3 years.

Really? The praise and sales it got say otherwise, the 4a was a great compact midranger for the price they were asking for. It wasn't anything mind-blowing but it was great.

The only point to spend more on a phone is to get the long term updates on these google phones. Also with the Xa model that was more compact in size as the 4a is 5.81 inch screen and 144mm tall that is still big for the phone screen size but still good for it's size.
Now i dont care the reasons why they end the support before there 4-5 years promise.
All i know now that i cant trust Google Pixel brand on phone.
People spend more on a not so good hardware phone just for stock android and long term updates and now google should refund half the phone price to everyone who bought the phone for this stunt

A pure Android experience with a manageable screen size. I'd pay double for a sub-6 inch, no skin Android right now. Zenphone 10 not available in my region yet. :-(

umpressive? if it had centered punch hole and they sold it with battery installed it would be the best deal in market, shame I couldnt stand the punch hole and I dont want to charge my phone twice a day brand new, which means 3-4 times a day after few years
