German network carrier prices are going to go up. Other countries might get ahead of Germany in coverage.

Ripping out the Huawei 5G is a good start, but it doesn't go far enough. They should be planning to remove ALL Huawei and ZTE equipment from their mobile networks. We've seen the Germans be too complacent with adversaries (just look at how dependent they were on Russian gas) and they're going to end up paying for it.

China doesn't allow foreign companies to control markets in their country so it's only fair for western nations to do return the favour
Besides, there was a whole scandal about Huawei network equipment being security compromised(phoning home).
