Tecno's first clamshell foldable Phantom V Flip is now official

The smartphone brings a 6.9” foldable LTPO AMOLED on the inside, and a circular 1.31” AMOLED on the outside.

The design is actually pretty cool, also the pricing is fair enough for that kind of a smartphone. Still I wouldn't pay that amount of money for relatively unknown brand. Add a few hundred and go for moto

                    That price! I hope other phone makers are taking note. It's all positives for Tecno mainly from this point. The world is craving a manufacturer who is sensitive to cost without cutting corners that shouldn't be cut

                          Did I read European Market?
                          Will we finally get an alternative to the overpriced Samsung Foldables?

                            It's nice that we're finally approaching the era of cheaper but good foldables. First the V Purse and now this being at such a cheap price will definitely begin a trend of cheaper foldables. The prices will obviously be more expensive in other regions but it still shouldn't be too bad either, it'll definitely undercut the other foldables out there that's for sure.

                              I don't think it is the launch price for India. It will be 10% lesser than ₹.50k with Bank/Exchange offers. People won't prefer Tecno if they price very close to Moto 40 which retails for same 50k now.

                                This launched here for $610

                                  650 or 700 for a clamshell phone.
                                  This will sell like hot cakes.
                                  Imagine a phone this good with said specs.
                                  Several companies does not give better specs on clasical bar phones and ask for a lot more.
                                  Like Iphone 15 for example.
                                  This will sell and it will sell very fast like Honor V purse when made globbaly available.
