SKF, 30 Sep 2023C7 on 13 ultra is low rated by DXO.Base on DXO? Color isn't even the weakness of C7 panel.

Mediatek on the other hand is good for battery life and temperature besides the Snapdragon power focuses, yeah Snapdragon for Flagship is more selling than MTK which commonly sell for Top Midrange rather than Flagship due to also because MTK chip much cheaper than Snapdragon, and also MTK has better signal gaining than Snapdragon chipset

Your 865 will be murdered even by the 8200 Ultra

MP aren't the only thing to look at.
Your 64MP is a 1/1,73" no OIS (according to gsmarena)
Compare to a 50MP 1/1.28" with OIS, 13T...sensor is able to get about 80% more light.
Plus if you really want lots of details, you've got the additionnal 50mm sensor.

Heck, most of them don't even know whether a panel has variable refresh rate or not. They were simply reading the marketing materials verbatim.

So.. there is no SD card slot, right.. or is it region-spesific?

I'd be very willing to buy the 13t pro as an upgrade for my mi 10t (which is also a really robust daily driver), but the mediatek processor and the 50 mp camera (down from the mi 10t's 64 mp) are kind of red flags....too bad

Mr Technologist61 , 27 Sep 2023csot display is bad and serious downgrade for people who ha... moreI checked the phone in China store. My Mi 10/12x (2021) use the same vendor CSOT but note 13 pro + is sooo much better.
I see your opinion that old CSOT OLED is green. But the new one really surprised me (they use brand name C6 and C7 for it. Note 13 pro/pro+ use c7 model )
Some Chinese reviewer said 13 pro + screen is somewhat better than pro in color accuracy, but I don't see evident difference.

Pls review a phone with the dimensity 9200/+ in the long term. Maybe revisit the Xiaomi 13T in 6 month to see how it holds up

MRSTEK, 27 Sep 2023They are still shipping those notorious screens to Meizu. ... moreAh, yeah, forgot about Meizu. It's a bit shocking the screen they put on the standard Meizu 20. I kinda view that more as Meizu's fault though for deciding to go with a rag screen to save a few bucks when decent quality OLEDs have already become very cheap. CSOT screens have become really cheap as well. The screen on this phone (k60 ultra with the same screen) is only 420rmb (US$58) to replace from Xiaomi's official repair centre so the cost to Xiaomi must be quite another bit lower than this. Screens have become incredibly cheap from all the Chinese manufactures. A year ago the replacement cost for 1080p oled screens was way more than this. Checking the Xiaomi 12s for example which is just over a year old and probably has a worse screen than the Xiaomi 13t, the replacement cost is 910 rmb (more than double the cost of this screen). This is one of the main reasons why phones have become cheaper in China this year compared to last, especially ones that have been launching from the middle of the year onwards

Looks definitely better than most competitors out there with same silly boring designs and no significant improvements.

Cant wait for battery life result

Personally I think visionox is the worst, they haven't evolved for years despite being the only supplier to provide mature UD camera solution.

Tianma is gaining market shares this year, superceding CSOT and BOE. Their screens have heavy quality control issues. I've seen numerous cases of defective screens on Redmi realme phones. The only advantage is being dirt cheap. Replacing a Tianma-made 1.5K screen costs around 70USD in China.
