Don't most of their screens now have their newer pixel arrangement? Basically, I think Huaxing optoelectronics (CSOT) and BOE are on a similar level nowadays, with their top screens anyway. Tianma is a little worse than both but they have also improved a lot this year.

Honestly, this is much better value for money than Xiaomi 13.

LoneOwl, 26 Sep 2023Lol at Xiaomis claims for 2600 nits peak brightness. I think you can get an idea from the Xiaomi 13 ultra of the real brightness. That screen used the same screen material from the same supplier, Huaxing optoelectronics (albeit at higher resolution). The max brightness claim was also 2,600 nits for the Xiaomi 13 ultra. However, the maximum manual brightness measure by gsmarena was just 492 nits and max automatic peak brightness measured by gsmarean was 1207 nits, which is pretty much in line with other android flagships. The brightest screen reviewed so far by some margin according to gsmarena is the Iphone 14 pro max

Iphone 14 pro max had 2000nits but was only capable of 1745nits so I doubt this 2600nits. But I anticipate s24 ultra 2500 let's see what Sammy can do

Really glad to see IP68 getting implemented in more and more phones. If only MiUI is not so damn buggy.

Better than. Oneplus 11 because it has ip68, better cameras
