Do you know many photos are taken by DXOMARK before they made a conclusion?
By the way, iPhone 15 Pro Max is second and you don't SATISFY? ONLY 8F DXOMARK GIVE iPhone number then you believe DXOMARK follows their protocol?
I have been following DXOMARK for years and in the last few years, iPhone have improved their ranking Without DXOMARK, iPhone will give you lower standard hardware but number 1 selling price.

Hard Truth - Apple has the greatest profit per phone.
Hard Truth - Apple can afford to give you best hardware but this is wrong because maximize profit is KPI
Buy iPhone is religious. To smear other phones or authorities regardless of facts are honourable as iPhone followers

They don't take nearly as many photos and videos as dxomark and many don't have a standard protocol that is the same for each phone. Often they just give their impression of the photos and videos based on a limited sample. Whilst all have their limitations I'd prefer the dxomark ones for camera reviews coz at least they put each phone through the same test and look at photos and videos in a much greater variety of scenarios

You just need tl go through a lot of their reviews and you will notice how they downplay the good things in some phones to highlight the ones in the phone that probably paid for a good score.
First- some photos don't have the exif data and some have it but uncomplete (with gsmarea the exif data is always visible)
Second: if the phone they are reviewing has a 3x optical zoom, they'll bring the phones with 5x and will force it to shot digital 3x photos, testing the "short range" zoom, but never testing the long range zoom.
Third: they will compare "portrait" shots and will give points to the one phone brightening up the face, even if the overall picture has highlights blowed up and the colors are oversaturated.
Fourth: they will test nigth shots, they will give the point to the phone having "less noise" even if it has less details or the photos are overprocessed.
