Not sure about those findings, most of Apple's components eg screen camera ect is made by Samsung,Sony LG ect. Lol

Just compare the realme 8pro and Xiaomi Note 10pro zoom pictures from their test and look at their rating.

        One phone crops from 12MP, the other from 108MP using Lossless.

        The difference in their samples is clear as day and night, yet it isn't represented in the score.

They've never bothered checking alternative modes as basic as a manual night modes, let alone the more esoteric stuff like raw, stacked raw, and log. It's just one touch point and shoot for DXO.

                And when you think about it, Apple's approach to photography and video is pretty similar to DXO's ideal phone. They try to have the most simplified and automated app possible, often burying the most basic settings deep insides menus to keep the main app as basic as possible. They even merged the portrait mode with the normal mode and bumped the resolution so you don't have to go through the effort of swiping to different modes for it.

                Add DXO's emphasis on accurate photo previews to the mix, and it's no wonder DXO ranks Apple highly.

                          According to dxomark Xiaomi Redmi 12 5G is king of artifacts.
                          Camera centric smartphones lost to that 200$ entry level smartphone.

                            DxOMark has not been trustable for a while now
                            They have become just another biased reviewer
                            For example, best in bokeh?
                            Oppo and Xiaomi flagships decimate the competition in bokeh quality.
                            Xiaomi has the best rear setup yet isn't in top ten.

                              In 2023 15 and 15 pro will be best iPhone .... 15 plus and 15 pro max will be flop.

                                  Based on DXOMark the main, tele, and wide of P60 Pro is better overall than that of Apple in terms of Photography. However the 15PMax has way better video recording capability than P60 Pro. Overall the only difference is 2 pts. Whichever you put your money on it would still be the best smartphone cameras overall.
