Warmer?
It is that hard to say it as it is"hot"
apple:phone gets little warmer due to the third party apps.
Not our fault.
Translation:phone gets so hot it is unbearable to hold it.
Software wise,we dropped the ball with this one,let us blame others.
Dont fix it if it aint discovered by the public.

It's TSMC A17 pro SOC 3 nm faulty manufacturing process with low yield rate. That's the reason. Titanium frame also contribute to overheating problem too. All in all iPhone 15 pro max series are unsuccessful failed model.

justasmile, 02 Oct 2023Did you even read the article? It's because of an iOS... moreSame iOS 17 that is on iphone 15/15+.
      Both have zero issues.

      It is the SoC.

"We should mention that we could not exactly replicate the overheating issue in our iPhone 15 Pro Max review where we used two units of the same device. We did notice significant GPU throttling under load though. We’ll make sure to follow up on the iPhone 15 Pro series overheating controversy and will update you accordingly"

And by update I do hope that Gsmarena retest this devices again.

Even though not a Apple fan I would trust an independent explanation than one offered by Apple

The possible explanation suggested by Analyst Kuo made no observable sense as if his theory were true, all iPhone 15 Pros would be experiencing the same issues, not Just a 'significant' few

The numbers affected are exacerbated as a Twitter source magnifies or seeds an event to many platforms, the analyst further stokes the story in offering an explanation to a hyped up event.

Proof you won't find my pet name for the iPhone 15 Pros I affectionately call the 'Iphone 15 Pro series' on any platform but this one

Incandescence Phone 15 Pro series, which is 3 years after the Fukushima Series

Instead of underclocking SoC, should recall the devices and make new ones with graphite/copper inside.

It's mostly 3rd party apps, using them when wireless charging and stuff like that.

Basically stuff that can happen on any modern phone.

So it’s a bit safe to say EF typhoon screwed pro device which had to use a harder frame and in action they added a light camera button which probably needs an operating system of it’s own, causing it to overheat along with always on display.

how is that possible? The A17 flagship SoC with NVMe storage, 8GB RAM which is very big for iOS but can overheat just because of device restoration. I don't understand.
If it uses eMMC, 3GB RAM, Exynos 850 or Snapdragon 450 then it makes sense why.
