the demo/test showing pretty much same, impact in middle of glass, any strengthened glass will have good durability on middle of glass, it still weak on the edge, even more fragile on curved one

Ceramic Shield is a bespoke variant made to Apple’s specification by Corning. It differs to the likes of Victus in that it is a ceramic glass as opposed to alumino-silicate glass.
Now I don’t know much about what that actually means, I just looked it up, but that it is a distinctly different product seems clear.

When my last 2-3 phones come with a case then i had them on.
Little protection helps the phone to look new. I would think that with these premium luxury phones you would want to have case on the phone for the reason to get higher price when you sell it after few years.
Anyways glass is just a bad material that holds the heat in the phone and dont let it move out like plastic and metal do.
