Just installed the update. Gone are the days when you could see noticeable changes in the UI/OS with new versions, it's all about QoL changes now. Nothing helpful/interesting update for me this time.
Not complaining, just an observation.

They'll never get the modem to work right. Not on this version, or even the Pixel 8 with the same modem. Can't compete with Qualcomm

I'm guessing the operator confused the 4a with the 4a 5G, because the original 4a is not likely to get Android 14 - it doesn't even get security updates anymore.

Samsung A9 pro- motherboard died , heated too much during charging.
M30s- a single drop from bed and screen became colorful. Didn't even crack from anywhere. Became super slow.

It takes a very long time to release Android 14. Disappoint with this delay. Not to say that there are weaker devices from the Samsung family that have already received beta updates

And on the opposite end, there's no excuse to lock down features on newer Android updates when phones older than two years are still capable of running them.

My phone is a samsung one and it is older model like launched in year 2020 with android 10 and i bought it in october 2020.
It already got 2 android os updates, thus will not get any future os updates.
I am happy and will use it till 2025 without the need to buy a new one.
Samsung phones can be used for 5 years without any major problem if anyone is a casual user.
My earlier phone before this one was bought by me on october 2015 and it is still usable but stuck with android 5.1.1. thus most new apps update support is over on that.

But one problem occurs in future as android versions keep going up.
New apps slowly start to end support on older android versions.
But 1 android version can be used for at least 5 year with all regular day to day apps.
What's app type apps gave android os around 10 year support as found on last few versions.
