Hzzif, 08 Oct 2023A bit off topic, but does someone know if the Tensor G3 is ... moreI'll answer your question. Tensor G3 is about 30% better then Tensor G2 in raw performance. Compared to Qualcomm Tensor G3 is between Snapdragon 8 plus gen 1 and 8 gen 2 performance. Compared to Mediatek it's around same performance as Dimensity 9200. Efficiency is also improved over Tensor G2. And the last most important thing of all is that Tensor G3 is very good and runs a few Celsius degrees cooler that G2 compared side by side. Peace.✌️

Pixel 8 offers really tempting photo and video editing features. But as a whole, stock Android is still lacking for my needs. Heck, I would even pick funtouchOS over stock Android.

Pixel 8 is 800 Euros in Germany (799 Euros tbe) not 700 Euros as in the chart. So, 150 Euro price increase from last year. Maybe 8a would be sensible.

7 years years of support is kinda dubious since google is pretty famous for discontinuing supports for their products and apps

Pixel 6 pro user, and pixel 2 xl in the past. Will now try iphone.

A bit off topic, but does someone know if the Tensor G3 is a major improvement over the G2? For efficiency?

I was supposed to get the iPhone 15 PM for an upgrade from my S20+ but it has overheating issue so either I’ll be getting this or the upcoming S24+.

The pixels are not even available in most countries so obviously no

Not in the options but I would consider the 8 over the upcoming s24 if the former were officially available in my country, especially since vanilla S24 will apparently get the Exynos once again

I would buy if it will officially available in my country, until then there are enough options
