I feel there are only 4 chipset choice left if a company wants to make a 4G only device
1.Snapdragon 680/685
2.Helio G99
3.Helio G88

Spec is not everything, screen quality can increase the price as well. Xiaomi pads have horrible display (except the pro one, but those are china only anyway)
Funny thing is, important specs like delta e deviation, black level, response times are not even mentioned

Alex 94, 06 Oct 2023Its 340€ for 8/256 gb right now.In Germany, Spain and France it's currently €400 for 6gb 128gb if you buy from Xiaomi which is the official price. Only the 6gb 128gb seems to be available officially in these countries when buying from Xiaomi. Maybe you are referring to pricing for import or from a third party reseller? Anyway, at least in the three countries I mentioned that is the official current price

Helio G99 is not the perfect SoC for a tablet, but it's serviceable. I bought 2 of those ALDOCUBE iPlay 50 mini Pros recently and it's actually been one of my favorite purchases in a long time due to the super snappy and intuitive plain Android interface. A Pixel tablet would be better, but they don't make a small one.

$240 for that? There are phones with better specs at that price, and phones are usually more expensive because they have to pack a modem and better cameras

It's somewhat ironic to see this cheaper version has a microSD card slot, whereas the more expensive version doesn't. It's not like the standard Pad is smaller than this Pad Go anyway.

Who will buy a tab with MediaTek G99 when you can spend around 80-100USD more and get a ipad 9th gen with A13 or Xiaomi pad 6 in India with SD870 which is leagues ahead in performance... Advance RIP to those who but this out of price constraint

Nah, 7:5 aspect ratio. End of story. Huge black bars top and bottom. Calculate that screen is 9 inch in videos. Also price in Europe will be more than 300€. For that amount of money, Xiaomi pad 6 is the King.
