I'm a Nokia fan, but this footage is seriously awkwardly horrible and dizzying, NO WAY IN HELL you can try and automatically track anything over here!. The stabilization is killing everything by going forth and backwards all the time!

NokiaCameraFan, 10 May 2013Why doesn't Nokia start doing real cameras or videocameras,... moreThe Idea is good, but as they would most likely also infect the camera with Microsucks OS, you would not want the camera either... ;)

When will nokia understand ? A good smartphone not camera alone . And microsoft obviously not putting enough affort to port those app to Wp8 . Android sucess because of 90% of cross platform apps while wp have 10% of it . Those people are not entierly wrong when they say "wp have no appz and gamzzzz"

Why doesn't Nokia start doing real cameras or videocameras, as they know how to make those brilliant but I DON'T want the PHONE that comes with it!? I could buy for example a pen camera, or sunglasses with a camera, or a mini camera to attach to a mini helicopter like in the video, WITHOUT the 600€ phone that comes with it!

Well the difference between this and the 920 promo is that this actually says it was shot with the aforementioned device. The 920's promo didn't, but people assumed anyways that it was, and when they found out that wasn't the case, they acted like Nokia said anything about the commercial being shot with the 920.
It was a similar situation with the 808 where Nokia released a few videos with the tiny text that said shot with an 808. Then when Nokia released other videos regarding the 808, people automatically assumed that those videos were in fact shot with an 808 even though those videos did not specify that.
When asked on Nokia conversations, Nokia said that the videos that did not specify that they were being shot with an 808, were not taken by one.

Beats the SGS4 video posted yesterday. Allthough it's not a 100% fair comparison that one stuttered a lot. Here you can see in some areas it wants to do the same but it's much better with HW OIS

As an independent filmmaker, I think the OIS tech really stands out. I'm gonna be using the 920 for aerial and action shots in my next short film, and the 808 for all the static and chroma related shots.
Quite brilliant!
