If you want an excellent pair of open-backs for cheap, I would highly recommend the Philips SPH9500 instead. You can find them nowadays for $60-70 on Aliexpress.

I recently bought them and honestly I don't think you should spend $400 when you can get the SPH9500 that are just as capable for mastering spatial audio. Its instrument separation and imaging capabilities are hands down one of the best I've heard.

And for general music listening it's great too, very neutral tuning but not at all flat/boring sounding.

I heard it, I generally like Sony audio products, this is a studio reference headphone, but in my ears, very so so in terms of sound quality, but some people like it, my personal opinion, I would get hi-fi man planar magnetic headphones or Sony own mdr-1am 2 which is closed dynamic driver Headphones which Sounds better in my ears
