Xiaomi tipped to replace MIUI with MiOS

It remains to be seen if MiOS will simply be another Android overlay UI or if Xiaomi is actually developing a new mobile operating system.

        So this could be something like HarmonyOS? I'm looking forward to this. If MiOS can be proven to be much more efficient than MIUI, I'm in.

              It most likely will be China only, so global users won't be affected.

                Just give us back the Screen useage line (Settings > battery > below useage chart) for god sake

                  Considering that ZTE's ui is called MyOS, I don't think they should do that.

                        I'm actually looking forward to this . The only thing people haven't really liked xiaomi for is the UI

                            It wouldn’t surprise me if they were working on a new OS. Huawei have Harmony, so the race could be on to develop the inevitable replacement for Android in China.
