Raw numbers are indeed disappointing, but still, Pixel 8 series can do more things than most S8G2 phones (and likely S8G3 ones too) let alone the camera quality right here at the very top.
I used to think the Tensor chip being gens behind was daylight robbery, but honestly the raw numbers gap isn't something I could've use anyway. On the contrary, the mad photography edit features that aren't coming to S8G3 phones anytime soon ? That's more like it.

It shows that the preorder people fell for it, 1100€ for a mid range cpu again and inferior battery to current flagships, but hey at least you got pixel buds or a pixel watch

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 in the Poco F5 outperforms this
Sure, performance is not everything, but when I pay a 1000$ I expect it to perform in line with the rest

Exynos 2400 could be better because its on Samsungs newer 4LPP+ node
