Leakster: the OnePlus 12 will have a 6.82" display with 2,600 nits brightness

12 October 2023
That's double the output of the OnePlus 11 display. The company is changing the aspect ratio too.

Stop getting bigger and bigger, men don't go out with bags like girls, they can only put their phone in pants pockets, it will be very uncomfortable exceeding 200g.

For me, 6.1'' is the most perfect size. I have used Pixel 6a before. It can be operated with one hand, just like holding a piece of art, while the 6.7 inch Pixel 6 Pro I am currently using is like a brick.😤

Well i want at least 3 pieces of Sony IMX966 at size of 1 or 2 inch if possible for normal photo, telephoto and ultravide. Also for selfie camera.
At least 32GB ram and a 2TB disk space along with 300W charging.

6.7" OP11 has already proved nearly unpocketable, the chance of me buying even a millimeter taller phone is 0. Damn it, Oneplus, what was wrong with 6.55"?

                    6.8" is too big
i own a phone with almost 6.7" screen and it is very big for my hands
6.0" is the perfect size although 6.2" is also pretty acceptable

NeonHD, 13 Oct 2023Why on earth are they still keeping that same back design? ... morenew designs requires new moulds and sizing dyes which require more money

companies now follow the rule "if ain't broke don't fix it"
even iPhone back design is unchanged from 11 to 15 except for dynamic island gimmick

And yes, the price is important in a competitive market. Also, why give money to your competitor(Samsung in this case) when you have your own people home that can do a similar job tor.less money?!

The telephoto camera should be 5X.

I still don't get the need to curved the screen. Like, why? It doesn't serve any purposes and most of the time it distorts the view. Can we just, stop, with the curve screen?

Another curved display aka wastage of screen real state and threat to screen privacy.

This is another kind of cheat to show slimmer bezels! I hate curved screens.

Video viewing experience is like fish eye effect or like cylinders :(
