I can only picture kids having fun taking pictures and swimming with their phones, but adults or 18+ year olds? its hard to imagine

AnonD-135736, 13 May 2013I've seen videos on youtube of da mighty Z recording videos... moreBecause the Z's screen wouldn't work all of the time under water due to it not responding all the time,so the added pysical camera button means you can now take photos or video woth out the risk of the screen not responding.

How many gigs left? dont tell me i... moreheavy gamers use 5gig at most? you obviously dont download games or apps or just trying to defend sony, gameloft games itself has games around 1 - 2gb of memory, so thats 2 games worth 4gb, now u get ur small apps which would take almost 1gb, now u need a free space of atleast 400mb for phone to not lagg... you call that heavy gaming?
Heavy gamers need atleast 16gb, but even 16gb is not enough.

AnonD-135736, 13 May 2013I've seen videos on youtube of da mighty Z recording videos... moreThe point is that the captive touch screen in z cannot be operated under water so it is impossible to take pics underwater and users have to start recording videos before going under water so that's why the zr got a dedicated shutte.

Two things are all I have to add, which renders these Sony phones obsolete... HTC One (Best Android phone ever made) and HTC One Mini released next month which is for anyone who prefer smaller phones...Both winners... God effort by Sony, but they have a way to go yet...

AnonD-135736, 13 May 2013I've seen videos on youtube of da mighty Z recording videos... moreWhen submerged underwater, the touchscreen stops working. So, with the Z, you cannot take a photo underwater unless you put a timer on the camera before submerging it. And the same for video, you cannot start the recording underwater, you need to start the recording while outside the water, and then submerge it.
In the ZR's case, while underwater, you can just push the physical camera button to take photos or videos while underwater, no need to go outside.

I've seen videos on youtube of da mighty Z recording videos and taking pics underwater and those would probably be in hd(I dont think dat da phone would detect water in any case). So why it is specially mentioned that zr can take underwater pics and videos in hd?
Nyways both the phones rock....

lolme, 13 May 2013@rizaldiwn actually most of the apps data will be stored i... morehow does it do that? my phone is storing all the data to the phone memory even though i have 64gb sd card inside, the chip is flashed to be read properly, it works, the whole card is visable to the phone and all the apps go straight to the device, i put another card in just to see if there was an issue downloaded again, and still it does not add to sd card, i also have another android phone and that 2 does NOT save to sd card, i there something in settings i am missing or is this a root trick,

great adding the proper camera button, makes total sense, the only way to use xperia z underwater is to put on timed shot or burst mode, while this is not such an issue it does make life MUCH MUCH easier with a proper button. kudos, i may buy this as my second phone.
