Had it for 1 month and I have pairing problems with the mi fitness app that keeps disconnecting and only connects by resting the band an pairing again
I pair it with the app daily and I couldn't find any solution to it

Guys while I'm using this at the pool using the swimming session, the heart rate field just shows the maximum heartbeat while intensive shows just 1 min and aerobics 0 at all although I'm getting PAI points. How can this be done? Am I doing anything wrong or is there a watch deficiency?

Someone managed to hack the Band 8 with a custom firmware, it even confirms that the band has a MCU known as the Ambiq Apollo4 Blue Lite

Unlike 7, 8 don’t work with Zepp life app which has a better more accurate interface and more features.

Hi there, do you know when the version with NFC is coming out of China? And does it worth to wait for it instead of mi band 7 nfc global? Any idea? Mi band 8 is more beautiful, but I want cheap variant for contactless payments. What about Google pay- I have a Samsung phone with nfc, but bracelet or watch will be better?

Bought this about a week ago. Damn, the refinements from the Mi Band 5 I used to own are really nice, much smoother, much more responsive, nice and bright, with a well-working automatic brightness adjustion. Battery life is at 55% after 5 days or so with most things on too! Sold my Galaxy Watch 5 since I barely used the more advanced features, felt like it wasn't all that smooth at times and didn't like the poor battery life. Don't regret it one bit. For 40€, this is a steal
