Another rugged phone, another same exact story - great specs but too big... Why must all rugged phones be so enormous? You can't fit such a brick to pocket so you need to carry it in a bag. Why not just make a rugged phone with 5" display instead? Why does there need to be such enormous display on a rugged phone anyway? People who buy rugged phones don't need enormous display to watch movies all day...

Minu, 15 Oct 2023Even I manage with a Nokia 8, no complains at all!!Had my Moto X4 which was a midranger for 4 years and perfectly worked like a brand new device since no motorola contains bloatware UI like Xiaomi, Samsung, Oppo, Vivo etc.

Having a latest CPU and GPU plus top notch charging speeds like 240W or 300W, all the water and dust damage certifications, super B specs camera front and back and enough ram like 32GB plus like 4TB disk space and we have a phone everybody would want.
Since it will come from oukitel it wont ruin your wallet.
Now this will be a dream.

All phones are user dependable if you are happy with calling messages and brownsing even an 10 years odl device will suits your needs perfectly.
For apps like banking, games, 8K photo and video editing latest flagship is needed with best possible specs and still will suits your for maybe 3-5 years before most aps mostly new games will be too powerfull to run perfectly smooth on an outdated specced phone.
Same goes for 8K photo and video editor.

          Many else peoples have same.
For someone updates are crucial and must have for many else people they dont care as much as long as the phone works for most basic task like calls, messages, brownsing when needed.

This seems like a pretty solid phone for the price, and I mean literally solid. Only $330? That's a crazy deal for what you're getting. I like how cost-effective these rugged phones are.

Wereweeb, 15 Oct 2023Monthy disclaimer about heavy "toughphones": W... moreAdding a heavy duty case also ads weight. So then assuming that your analogy is correct, which it is, this will make you thin and light phone heavier and it also will smack the concrete with the same energy as the heavier phone without a case. But that's the issue here...weight. These tanks already have the case built in so this basically equals out the danger of more energy being created on impact. Light phone with a heavy case - VS - heavy phone with a built in case.

Very very bad phone. Mine broke doen 2 times in 3 months. No parts ava8lable. Factory does not answer email neither do they pick up their phone. Never ever buy an oukitel. I warned you.

I want to see the full spec sheet here. This is already looking like a really good deal, and if it has stuff like a headphone jack and MicroSD card slot then this will be on the top of my list for midrangers.

While there are people who want teeny tiny micro phones like those in 2010-14, there are also people who want "real" big devices with 7 inch and 80 mm+ width. If a phone is 6.8 inches size and aspect ratio is 21:9 then it's just a waste of space

Why stop at 7 inches, by the way? I don't care whether or not you missed a 10 incher. This isn't about what you missed or didn't miss; it's about whether or not "there's plenty of small and light phones on the market. And not enough big ones."
