It really is crazy how wireless communication seem to be growing by leaps and bounds while wired communication is still growing at a snail's pace. Heck, my phone already downloads faster than my home internet connection!

The speed of 1 gbps sounds awesome.
But a little correction.
A movie is 700MB while 1gbps=128MBps only.
So it might take about 10 seconds for a complete movie download

Something is wrong or my understanding! 1 Gbps is 1 gigabits / second (Note: small b as per IEEE standards represents bit) and 8 bits form a byte or B. A normal movie in bytes is 700mB to 1gB to 25gB (blue ray movies). One cannot download a 700mB movie in 1 second. Either there is incorrect representation in article or should any of you please explain me.
