It may have been worse for Apple if Huawei had enough stock of the Mate 60 pro. It's nearly impossible to buy a Mate 60 series phone in China for normal price (only very limited luck draw flash sales). You can only get them from third party resellers if you pay around 1,400 rmb (US$190) on top of the official retail price from third party resellers.

It's in line of what their expectation was, overall it's gonna sell worse than iphone 14 series, I don't think it will be any different on the global market.
