is this a android skin or a brand new OS? looks so much like ios

        MIUI in nutshell renamed.

The question: We will still have the chinese HyperOS vs the global HyperOS. I believe that yes this will be the case but the difference between the two will be huge still?

I am with an almost 3y old Mi 10T lite and it still runs blazing fast. There is a catch however. I can't remember what MIUI version was out of the box, maybe 11, but I had some very nasty bugs up until MIUI 14. Aside from few redundancies here and there this is the only version of MIUI that works really smooth. It is easy on the battery. Using the Android debloating tool is a must. There are not only Xiaomi apps that need to be removed. My phone was actually full of hidden and quite mysterious add trackers with almost no information online. The leaked screenshots look very Chinese and not in the good way.

My Xiaomi devices doesn't lag and is not buggy like how it is being portrayed on sites like these. If you are buying the cheapest device, you don't expect it perform like a flagship and the lower end devices are more likely to lag after some time.

Just put back the screen on time line battery settings

DG., 18 Oct 2023Can someone tell me why Miui is always talked badly about? ... moreBecause most get pulled in with the apple, pixel, samsung superiority complex/believe all the over hype and unfortunately are too ignorant and stubborn to realise xiaomi make some of the best phones (and a lot of other products) but because china and the chinese people get such a bad name so any chinese product MUST get bashed even though their iphones and galaxy phones are made in chinese/asian sweat shops.

Its basically the western world to put it bluntly and ignorance.

                          Better than IOS 17.

potato4k, 18 Oct 2023It will be slow and bloated due to ads and gazillion bloatw... moreI have Redmi Note 12 Turbo with Chinese ROM and I can uninstall almost all apps from within the settings. Even default browser can be uninstalled if you use ADB to remove. Also, no ads, I was surprised.

whats the point of creating another MIUI. They should learn from past oneplus or Nothing phone

                                Looks horrible.

Styling looks terrible, looking like a knock off iPhone.. stop it geez

Don't see any difference between this and the current MIUI.

potato4k, 18 Oct 2023It will be slow and bloated due to ads and gazillion bloatw... moreSo non of what youve actually said then? Owned redmi note 5 a.i. DC (released like 2018 and cost about £150 new) and it could disable pretty much every app and theres an option to disable ads and was stable and quick even with the SD 636. Miui is known for its speed, customisation and chinese brands seem to get the UI better than anyone simply for the fact they essentially combine stylisation of ios with android flexibility (same with huawei and oppo, huawei imo had the best experience before apple, america and samsung got upset)
