We got Oppo Find N3 over here in Asia. In hardware terms, it's an easy win for Oppo/OnePlus. So much better than what Samsung have done so far. But in terms of software, I might lean more towards Samsung because of DeX. I always use it a lot when travelling light without my laptop.

Anonymous, 23 Oct 2023No need to make long comment defending this USD 500 worth o... moreMan deep inside only you believes to things you just spread here called and known as hate noone else agrees with them.
Because you never had chinese phone before you cant understand whats difference between quality compared to value case of chinese devices and casual overpricing with exact quality as chinese devices.
Even Apple uses same practicies easy reason why Iphone 15 series sells lot worse than Iphone 14 series.
Fortunately in real world majority of people (80% marketshare) prefer foldable phone made by Samsung with multiple years of experience.
Fortunately real people uses real phones and brands not overpriced gimmick with zero value called Samsung.
When iput both to comparison Oneplus open is way better in every aspect.
You are ether blind and deaf or with brain equal to chicken to not understand easy facts.
I am not here to lecture you but litterary every chart every your comment been replied with at least 5-10 users proving you are just joke.

This is exactly what i've expected from any chinese phone fans, writing very long comment without actually buying the phone, because deep inside they knew that any chinese phone is an inferior phone.
Failure phone Oneplus Open is only worth USD500 maximum.

Bob, 23 Oct 2023both the responses are not pertinent. an adaptor is an add ... moreAre you a DJ or a sound engineer? Why would you need such perfect audio quality? And if you are, you wouldn't use your phone for work. Most usb C trasmit LDAC and other high quality codecs so sound quality isn't an issue, or it is minimal to not perceivable. The only thing I missed when I got my first phone without the jack was when I connected my phone to an amplifier, but an adapter fixed that and I didn't notice any difference. I also have that adapter always on the amplifier so I'm not gonna lose it either. I love the 3.5 mm audio jack, it's a pity we see it rarely but come on man, how often do people need it in this year? You connect to bluetooth speakers at home, wireless headphones/earbuds, in your car as well. You are talking very specific niche things that the majority of people got over.

Adapter costs pennies and you can still connect it.
What 2000$ phone do you have with a 3,5mm jack that you daily connect your headset to?

What do you think about Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 at around 800 euros for an option? I'm thinking that 1700-1800 euros is too much but almost half of this price for an experience of having a foldable phone I think is worth it. This if you are "sick" or bored of having a "normal" phone... Yes it remains to see the durability over time and how long it will hold...

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2023I will buy Oneplus Open ONLY if it has USD 500 price as wor... moreMan you are funny.
You just can accept fact the Oneplus made with first device lot better work than Samsung with its 5th generation where user buy same crap over past 3 years since Fold 3 with no improvements at all.
Giving new CPU and GPU is no imrovement.
But your jokes made everybody laugh.
By the way Oxygen OS is as close to stock android as it can be compared to samsung bloatware UI where a 12GB ram device feels like 6 compared to oneplus Open where due to stock androoid this device feels like it have twice as much ram.
And your so called water resistance is nothing just an useless gimmick because even a low cost 100 eur china made phone can withstand few rain drops and noone will carry his her phone to shower or go swim with it into the sea or ocean because the phone will die within 5-10 seconds.

Bodygard, 22 Oct 2023There should've been an option "i don't want... moreWell i also voted for no foldable.
I think market with foldable is too small and they are too fragile to be accepted as a succesor of bar or slab form of cell phones.
No matter the brand foldables are just no.
Apart being very expensive offering bad, worse or really much worse specs compared to said bar or slab phones foldables are just no.

Everything still wotks as new, even after a couple of serious drops. The only thing i can complain about is the protector of the inner display is peeling of. compared to regular smartphone (flagship tier):

Valentin, 22 Oct 2023Reading some of the comments here gave me a headache. Some ... moreXperia 1 V, 5V, 10V. Zenfone 10. All with headphone jack. Just because you're ignorant about them, doesn't mean they don't exist.
And yes, if I'm expected to pay almost 2000€ for a phone, I better be able to connect my SUPERIOR audio equipment to it and not be expected to just use garbage wireless audio.
You know what phones didn't have a 3.5mm jack? My Nokias from 20 years ago. Wow! Such progress, I can waste 2000€ on a phone that also misses features I was missing 2 decades ago!
You speak about being "close minded" yet you parrot the OEM propaganda to try to justify including fewer basic features. And you purposefully dismiss people who call a gimmick a gimmick, even though the marker clearly agrees with us.
You're so desperate to simp for this pointless excuse of a phone that you're even pretending the segment is "ever-growing" when exactly the opposite is happening. It's stagnating and, mark my words, will contract. Because specially in times of inflation, not many people are willing to waste money on useless featureless gimmicks like foldables.
As the youths say, "cope and seethe".

BBK wastes millions of dollar (equivalent) to pay low skilled Oneplus/Oppo employees only to get mediocre and inferior phone like this.
Better to quit smartphone business, BBK. Your product is bad.
