Instead after Snapdragon 8 gen 3 announcement they put some effort in R&D they will literally solder new SOC on the motherboard and sell it to the people. That's why I use only Google Pixel or Samsung Galaxy S series.

W... moreI think they basically abandoned this phone as it didn't sell that well so they decided not to support it software wise. They sold off the remaining stock during the 618 June sales and stopped manufacturing it as it wasn't making any money. In China though the k series has fairly bad support in general but even the standard Redmi k60 got more sofware support than the k60 pro.

While I'm not in China and use an RN10 5G which gets 2-3 months of security, last year and early this year I always got the latest security update in the current month but right now is not because this phone will end soon (Q1 2024)... I also got news of the September update already, it's out and in a few days I will get it on this phone.. it's a cheap phone, I don't expect much. If I want more fast just buy the latest Redmi.
