They are facing a lot of competition from other manufacturers that are embracing 3gpp standards at a lower prices.
If they want to stay relevant they need to lower the prices and start being more open to the customers.
Hey Nokia, are feeling the heat or what?

Hey Nokia executives ... I know how you can EASILY save 400 million euros!
Fire the global executive of sales!
Heck have someone call into the whistleblower line after he/she (said executive) goes out to a bar/strip joint and claim harrassment. It'll take just 3wks or less investigation and guess what - that'll forfeit:
Shares,
bonuses,
drastically CUT the severance pay as well. I've personally seen this occur to an executive whom was suspect from day one, whom actually kept going to a bar across the corporate office and kept harrasing a bar waitress there. Another executive of the same company did not like what he saw and provided the number to the bar manager and heavily advised her to call before he left the bar abruptly.
Clearly 20% drop in sales QoQ isn't necessarily a lack of demand across the industry ESPECIALLY within NATO nations whom by the USA embargoed any deals with Huawei ~ meaning huge opportunity. The direction was simply wrong, not the equipment but the pricing, negotiation guidance for all said 14'000 employees! Their grunts and just following the script and doing their best to make it ahead.
Can the lead, restructure the sales business or the business into consultation.

About time this company goes under, it should shut down completely.
They do business in developing countries where labour laws are lax and not strict, they use third party companies without proper supervision. Nokia combined with their third party contractors don't pay their employees on times, withheld payments months at a time. I can say because i worked for them long ago. And i was a victim of their non payment
