High brightness nits display looks good only on Samsung phone or iPhone, not on chinese phones with ugly interface or knockoff One UI/ iOS wannabe.

this will lead to many problems in long run especially eyesight issues

                Anything above 1600+ is pointless

Everybody talks about nits, but nobody talks about lifetime of OLED being so bright. I have Nord2 about 6 months now with very poor max. brightness and my notification panel is already burned in. We live in society where numbers, looks and specs is all. So sad.

                    Xiaomi 14 Pro Use 3000nits.

So happy about this. Now I can finally browse twitter on the surface of the sun like god intended.

If you care that much about screen brightness, just make your screen matte lol. My kindle has never had visibility issues regardless of where I am.

BoE, the substandard panel maker that didn't pass Apple's QC? MKBHD's review unit already had dead pixels. OnePlus better have good warranty for this, or people would lose confidence right away.

                            Its that simple.

The 3000 nits panel in question:
                              -700 on manual slider
                              -Prob around 1200 on auto
-2000 on occasional situation with HDR content
-3000 in just a split of a second while playing the content
