In actua... morearound 500 nits for the manual slider (this is to keep the battery and screen from burning in) 1000 nits (this is for out door but don't use it for too long) over 2000 nits (that's only a small part on the screen and also for HDR content)

Serious question so please genuine answers: What is a genuinely optimum brightness to read in bright direct sunlight? I feel like 500 nits isn't enough but when it gets to about 800-1000nits how much more is needed to see the screen comfortably? I understand everyone's eyes are different so it's always kinda subjective to each person
