Vs
4-6 Devices of Nokia in this and last quarter
1-2 Devices of Apple in this and last quarter
3-4 Devices from HTC, Sony, LG in this and last quarter
So tell me, is this fair? Or just spamming the market with Galaxy(s) launch of the same class, same design every month. This is totally ridiculous. I mean who wouldn't get the lion's share by this method.
Other companies = Quality
Samsung = Quantity

It's funny. Apple sells two cool devices From January 2013 until today which is the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S yet they we're able to come up with a great race with Shamesung that sells 30+ different ugly looking plastic phones. What more if iPhone 5S Comes out? I think these paid Antdroid will get frustrated again.lol

So long for the WP going to take over the market and that BB would die. RIM doing ok it seems and WP no getting off to the so called domination we were so promised a year back. Android will continue to dominate because Apple and its IOS cash cow is getting so SSDD. People are waking up to it finally.

Remember, these are worldwide figures. Obviously iOS is low because people in poor countries can't afford it. If you look at Europe or U.S. specifically, iOS and WP are way higher, and Android is less dominant.

Belle with Feature Pack ... moreI used Symbian pre-belle version S60 on a touch screen phone, and back then it was really poor compared to android 1.6 I would be impressed if they managed to turn around all of the huge design flaws in the OS which made me get rid of the phone as soon as possible. I didn't bother looking into later versions because S60 was behind the times and android was progressing so quickly.

The Apple/ Samsung smartphone sales comparison is not accurate. That's like saying Ford sells more cars than BMW does. BMW is a niche manufacturer - luxury vehicles while Ford makes a full range of vehicles, from economy sub compacts to the luxury Lincoln lineup. For sure Ford will outsell BMW. Similar Apple only makes the top line iphone while Samsung makes a way wider range, from the flagship GS4 and ATIVs to the Galaxy Ace at the lower end.
