Anonymous, 14 May 2013You talk crap:)))...because what I said about lagdroid getting older? it's a fact, symbian went through that, iOS is showing its age(well it was old from the begining:)), RIM changed recentley its OS, but that's about all you'll get from me, I don't like talking to guys telling the world what they have in their little fandroids' heads:)...cwr@p

I don't want to remember that symbian days. Most of the time I am in service centre for software problems, remember that it is not for software upgrading. Now Same crap nokia comes with another jail (windows).
Thanks to Google for this wonderful operating system (android).Android is real king of mobile operating system.

Apple manufactures only 1 ... moreWhile your comment is valid, the problem Apple faces is that they sell a hardware that runs on a proprietary software... which means they are not just in competition against Samsung, LG, HTC, they are in competition against every phone manufacturer. This is the same problem Apple faces in the computer business, but because Apple computers are so unique and special, they can sell it for 2-3 times more than their competition and people will still buy it. You can't say the same for their phones. Android will continue to dominate the market, while Apple will need to re-strategize how they handle the mobile market.

sony sold 8 million handsets and they only have smartphones but they didn't bet zte that has 8 milion units sold ?

If apple users cannot see the writing on the wall then hopefully these statistics will prove that even iphone5s cannot ressurect apple. Android is going from strength to power on sales alone. Goes to show that users prefer when both os and hardware are pushed to the max.

AnonD-77443, 14 May 2013Nokias problem was that they stayed stuck with 2.2-2.8"... moreone of the problems, yes, but the most important one was I think the fact that people wanted something new and of course, cheap...because there's no way you can compare symbian capabilities of that times with what android was offering. But time is ticking, lagdroid is getting older and people have the same perception about it as they had about Nokia(that it would last forever), unfortunately for Nokia they made some wrong decisions but I don't think they could have done anything to symbian to keep it going(people want something trendy, new, blah, blah, blah), too bad for meego though...

Let's put 2 and 2 together here! Apple manufactures only 1 smartphone or 2 annually!! Sammy just floods up the whole entire market. So if they took the s3 sales and note2 there wouldn't be such a huge gap for 1st Q13 units sold.

iphone cant win against android unless they change allot of things i see windows in the future maybe putting up a fight . but thats a big maybe and iphone needs to make more than one phone and give users more freedom on ther phone also
