The 888 in my find x5 isnt that bad tbh, as long as the manufacture create a good enough cooling system generally you shouldnt have any performance issues (usually the bigger issue, why iphones struggle more, is higher clocks without putting in a big enough/quality vapor chamber or copper pipes etc). TSMC, at the moment atleast, seem to have the better fab since atleast the 7nm fabs (their 3nm fab seems to be struggling with yields, maybe effiency aswell?).

Anonymous, 25 Oct 2023Mediatek fanboys still in silence? 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂No, why would they be? Flagship dimensity chips are very good, barely any slower than SD, probably cost manufactures a lot less and brought a few features out before the likes of qualcomm (had ray tracing before them as an example).

    Nothing wrong with mediatek SoCs.

Anonymous, 25 Oct 2023Mediatek fanboys still in silence? 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂Thank you for pointing that out! It's the strangest thing, isn't it. With the 2M score on Antutu...!

All the 24GB RAM and 240Hz display capability, yet there are still lots of brands who don't even give USB-C 3.1/3.2 with wired video output and Desktop Mode support on their "flagship" phones. Smartphone nowadays are so crazy powerful, if not overkill, in terms of everyday performance that your phone can only be the only computer you ever need. I myself now using my Windows laptop less often than before after I started using Samsung DeX, Huawei EMUI Desktop, and LG Screen+.

wow Europe and Asia gets S24FE early💀💀💀💀

More than peak performance, I am interested in sustained performance , stability and thermals.

Both the Snapdragon 888 and 8 Gen 1 were terrible and overheated way too much. Then the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 turned out to be not only a massive improvement over 8 Gen 1, but also ran much cooler and was significantly more stable.

                    🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

                      EVERYONE HOLD.
Let us wait for the chipset to be released FIRST, and then we can VALIDATE the claims made here. Simple AnTuTu or Geekbench results do not suffice. We need a proper investigation, to see how it's burst (Single-Core) performance is, it's full (Mukti-Thread) performance is, it's graphical performance, and it's throttling profile. We can assume this is built on the optimised TSMC-4nm node (same as A16), but it could be Samsung. It could be garbage or it could be splendid. The Android demographic MAY have caught up to Apple, or it might not have.

Just wait first. Do not rush into conclusions.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 is also being announced and released shortly. And in the next three months we will also see all of these in more devices, alongside the next-gen Exynos 2400 processor. Let's hold off any final conclusions until we get the full picture.

So does it support 8k@60fps video recording or not?

qualcomm will ask 199 for this

this 4nm could be TSMC again, i assume

Inb4 "muh muh a17 pro is on 3nm so its better..." not knowing lithography size is just a marketing gimmick that doesn't even reflect a real size
The gpu is up to 50% faster, the cpu is probably on par while running a lot more cooler

The 7 gen 3 lost its hype, like the 7 series before it, but unlike the 765 which was introduced at the same time as the 865
