Perhaps Nokia is first trying to test waters by coming up with this upper-mid-range touchscreen phone instead of going all-out with a high-end, real expensivev handset.

Nokia 5800 will give the firm a solid feedback in terms of its acceptance with the consumers as well as provide the new OS to gain a foothold before Nokia comes out with an iPhone killer.

Nice try Nokia. I really like this one, and the guys at Nokia don't want to throw everything on the phone coz they want to have something to add on the upgraded version next time, or the high-end version rather. Good competition though.
