That would be a nice way to utilize the rumored 2,500 nits peak brightness of the Galaxy S24 lineup's display.

First of all HDR10+ is not open-source, it's royalty-free ( and it's not actually royalty-free either). It's an alternative HDR format developed and supported by Samsung and noone else at this moment. it's a dead format, comparable to Exynos, another thing Samsung is pushing for his unlucky users. There is no content for HDR10+ and it's only supported by Samsung ecosystem and some older Panasonic TVs which have long switched to Dolby Vision btw.

Dolby Vision is a de-facto HDR standard supported by Hollywood.(and Apple). iPhones, HDR TVs and every hdr movie ever made, if they do support advanced hdr, it's Dolby Vision. Good luck waiting for Hollywood to start making movies in HDR10+ :facepalm:

HDR10+ is for all intents and purposes an almost useless feature. i say "almost" because it's still possible to watch Samsung HDR demos on in and some weird Youtube videos, to experience something you will never be able to use in a realistic case scenario.

And to add to the injury, DV is also functionally the superior format than HDR10+

    If battery can top up within10-15 minutes a time when even dont start to be too hot to degrade it will have no impact just like a 5V/1A charging where battery wont get hot at all.

      and Thus (1) , this means it needs a private licence (fee) to be used on a TV which says "supports Dolby Vision".. its the same on phones..
      and Thus (2)
      hdr10+ is developped open source so it can be used freely without any licence or "fee" .. now isnt this sheat sounds COOL ¿? yeeeeeh.. and hopefully itll work cool as it sounds cool too.

              Sin ce time is money faster is better.
              Slow charge is for people which does not value their time.
              When you are in rush or hurry and you have to leave your phone with flat or almost flat phone is just a no.
              But charging my phone in 15 minites is definitely way to go.
              By the way even Samsung will use fast charging just it takes some time until they start using it.

You cant say the same with crawling charging speeds used with Apple, Google, Samsung etc.

More power = more u, but mostly more I. So it's heat. By standard model of physics, faster charger heats more. Nothing more to say, and whatever you say, it heats. Internal battery no magic, Chinese brands just don't care battery heat, explode, wore faster. So they would not be afraid to put like charging 250w. And even worse that it's switched power, so like hit and hit again ( Dirac comb, or Thor hammer for an easier picture).

                            Anyway HDR looks cool. Just hope they won't abuse of it like any new tech and kill our eyes with it.

                                        Man these rumors been long time ago proven they are false.
                                        Super fast charging ir slow it have equally same impact on the battery aoart the fact when your phone charges faster it consumes less electricity due to fact is shorter time on charger.
                                        Another fact is what really damages your battery is heat not charging speed.
                                        In your case phone takes 60-90 minutes to charge its battery in other words the battery is much longer under heat and excessive presure compared to something like 125-200W charging speeds where your battery barely heats up because it will be 100% ready within 10-15 minues.
                                        I though people with these false claims are gone but looks likes i was wrong.
                                        So read something get your facts right because even a GSMArena team proven the fast charging is much better.
