That would be a nice way to utilize the rumored 2,500 nits peak brightness of the Galaxy S24 lineup's display.

They have a net worth of around 400 billion (what I could find via Google). If they can pump out millions of phones a year, then they can definitely have 2500 a year left over to add it.

            Samsung literally makes their own displays, theres no 3rd party issue or anything,

              How has this guy remained poor for so long

                I'm all hyped for S24 Ultra. Will be my first flagship phone from a top manufacturer.

                  HDR10+ is for free to whoever wants to use.
                  DV has fees.

                      OneUI 6.1 should bring uHDR to older devices supporting Android 14. I agree with justasmile, why lock a small feature to newer phones. Phones are pretty advanced now, so pretty much every entry level/basic smartphone should have 90hz or at least HDR10/HLG

                        Ofc Samsung didn't implement it they always only giving minor, minor improvements/updates.

                        And no im not a hater, have the S22 Ultra my self.

                          Would be just stupid if they don't bring it to older flagship models supporting Android 14.
