Sony Xperia Z gets firmware update, improves camera quality

It would be nice if gsmarena could run its tests again on the Z and post the updated results as it has done with HTC One and Galaxy S4 after their respective updates.
Good for the people who are looking to buy the new device and it also enhances gsmarena's reputation as unbiased reviewers ;)

Yes about the update I am not happy with the portrait view of movies because in 5inch display if u play a video it leaves a lot of background above and below display that's not fair and if we switch of auto rotae screen (that some people do)then we hav to watch it in portrait mode only that's lame what was sony thnking about that videos are meant to enjoyed in amazing 1080p display in landscape mode sony just spoiled its display speciality

add to my last post, the video or movie quality on night seen dim down even the brightness level are max huhuhuhu ,, and now i want to roll back the update to 10.1.a.1.434
- all of the said improvement is true :D, BUT :'( white balance is a nonsense,recently apps interface toggling has log, captured image and album viewer also has log, i also experience that i am reading one of my friend message and suddenly i receive new message from my other friend and view it in the notification screen without leaving the message that i was reading before and after press the new message i arrived at the message that i was reading before.. there is also a bug on the camera when you select hdr+ scene in normal mode the flash button is read only and wildly it toggle on and off.

Big battery improvement in video watching, 8 hours with a midres XVID video at loop is no problem now, and the brightness is not near the minimum, auto brightness enabled. The best just got better, looking forward to the updated battery test.

[deleted post]How can you say that? Xperia Z it's very expensive... rather it seems that all brands are deliberately crippled something... (Samsung looks bad compared to rivals, and overly saturated photos that are much more defined ...)

before I'm wondering to buy sony x-z or galaxy s4.. but now I decided to buy Z.. you know why? because the durabilty won't let you down everything is good enough than s4 inside and out.. just think of it readers..!!!

amazing update: lcd display viewing angles improved A LOT, it's like having a new phone today! probably due to contrast? blacks don't wash out as much as before looking different sides. thanks sony didn't let us down.
